"I was born in Midland, Michigan a long time ago......graduated high school, and headed off to college. I majored in Graphic Design, with minors in Business, Psychology, History, and General Science (approx. 3 years). Next stop, Los Angeles, where tattoos and rock went together, if you wanted to get girls. I got my first big piece (a green dragon on my left arm) at Hollywood Tattoo, with no end in sight after that day. Many years and a few tattoos later, I left a retail job of 7 years and took my retirement check and spent it on what else.......a tattoo (a large blue dragon on my right leg) from Heritage Tattoo of Bay City. It took about 6 hours to finish. During that time I convinced the artist, Dave Schwab, to take me on as an apprentice. The apprenticeship lasted about 4 months, and I was sent out to help open a new shop in Midland, Michigan. I was made Shop Manager after a couple of years, and passed the tattoo and piercing trade down to six others. All but one have gone on to make tattooing and piercing their career. After 6 years in Midland, Michigan, I said 'GOOD BYE' to the cold of Michigan and moved to sunny Tampa, Florida (July 2004), and remain there to this day. Getting a tattoo is a very personal thing, something people never forget. I have always tried to make getting a tattoo an entertaining experience because when the customer leaves they take a small piece of me with them and they remember that for the rest of their lives. Knowing I left my mark on people I have met, over the years, makes this all worth while." ---Jeff
